Singing Bowls
Struck Bowl 6
This is not a very high quality bowl, but it is nonetheless rich in partials, with warbling (beating or fluctuations) in the delta and alpha brain wave frequency ranges. Musically, there is a predominant sound of augmented fourths or diminished fifths (tritones) between its partials, which gives its sound a characteristic dissonant quality.
